Vote for OSGeo.nl
OSGeo.nl has been nominated for the most prestigious geo-award within The Netherlands: the Geo Prestige Award 2026. This is a callout to our community: vote for us!
TL;DR: Vote directly via https://geomares.typeform.com/to/YUyu9jo8 or click image above, or use QR. Sorry, form is in Dutch.
The professional association Geo-Informatie Nederland (GIN) presents annual industry awards known as the Geo Prestige Awards. There are three categories: Organization, Professional and Startup. OSGeo.NL has been nominated in the Organization category.
We’ve been nominated... but naturally, we want to win! And since we are the only community-based organization (the other nominees are companies), we’re asking everyone to vote for us! We have been active, an assocation since 2011, in many respects, most notably our anual FOSS4G.nl
Voting takes place via a standard online form. You can view all nominees here .
Be sure to check out the other categories too:
- 3DGI is our favorite Startup, with many links to OSGeo.nl.
- And: Britta Ricker in the Professional category, see her book: Mapping for a sustainable world !
So, don't let your vote go to waste. And, of course, we warmly invite you to share this message with others.
Thanks in advance! We’d love to take the stage at GeoBuzz on Nov 16, 2026!
